Situation

Unlike the Holonis mobile version, the desktop version lacks an immersive experience around discovering content. This dis-jointed experience is often noticed by current users wanting a similar experience on the desktop. Other issues include, a lack of ease in finding various types of content throughout the Holonis platform.

Task

Create a captivating experience on desktop to increase page consumption among new and existing users. To do this, a few technical limitations surrounding code need to be surpassed. The new experience of discovering content will be valuable do to the enhanced visual experience. This experience will also tie in with the entire platform.

Action

A User Flow Task Analysis, along with multiple meetings with the business team has been performed. User testing has yielded results showing that this experience will be beneficial for both discovering encouraging the publication of content. Wireframes and prototypes have been executed along with finished designs.

Results

The result from this process are finished designs, prototypes and specs ready for the development team to execute on. It is expected that this will drive user engagement throughout the platform. More information will come available as the project progresses throughout the year.
